1.  Everything was plentiful and very tasty, except that the glazed
carrots were tepid.

2. The courses were spaced too far apart.  I don't know if this was
deliberate, or due to problems in the kitchen.

3. Most of it was plausibly period. Roast lamb and chicken are
pretty generic.  AFAIK, the only dish that explicitly came from a
period recipe was the armored turnips (and they were very good
armored turnips).  The glazed carrots and the green beans
almondine jumped out at me as non-period.

4. Dishes without serving utensils are a pet peeve of mine.

As a feaster, I felt that I got my money's worth of good food.  As a
cook, I would have liked to see more attention paid to authenticity.

(And though you didn't ask, I thought the dayboard was excellent.)
