I break or cut it up into largish chunks, scrape out the seeds, set it in a
shallow baking pan with a bit of water in the bottom and drizzle it with
molassas.  Then I just bake it till tender.  Folks I feed say they haven't
had a bad squash from me yet, no matter the type.
