[Sca-cooks] Peas pies

Peas pies are a truly marvellous dish.  Every time I make them they are absolutely inhaled, and they are so simple a recipe that people who hear it simply cannot believe that something so plain can taste so good.

Basically peas are cooked with butter, saffron and a wee bit of sugar, and the put into pastries.

I think I found the original recipe in Le Viandier de Taillevent, but I will have to rummage around to find out for sure.
