Marsala wine is from the Marsala region of Sicily.  It is fortified with brandy.  Amber or Golden Marsala is made with white grapes, and Ruby Marsala is made with red.  It ranges in grade from Fine: 17° alcohol, aged >1 yr to Vergine Soleras: 18° alcohol, aged 5 years.
