[Sca-cooks] Advice on cleaning deep frying pots

I usually clean out anything spilled and baked on in my Dutch overn the
old-fashioned way----I burn it off!  Of course, if you're trying to clean
the sides of a really deep pan, that could take a whole lot of firewood.
