Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Among other things.

On the other hand, in re Mrs. Luther and her pickle barrel, I suppose
it could be argued that, if she was anything like her husband, the
pickle barrel story may have been concocted to explain her natural
facial expression. It has been suggested (and I'm not kidding here,
although the people who made and published the suggestion may have
been) by reputable physiognomists (which may, I grant, be a
contradiction in terms) that most of the surviving portraits of
Luther seem to suggest chronic constipation, and there's been some
speculation as to what a religious map of the world might look like
today had Ex-Lax existed in the late Middle Ages.

Obviously there are some scientists with too much time on their hands...
