Cooking ImplementsI am looking at the Jos Townsend page. Some of you may be familiar with his goods.  Down on this page is cone sugar which some of you might be interested in,.  However it has molasases in it which is not period, I think....

These are copied from an 18th Century original used for "nipping" pieces off of sugar cones. Made in USA of polished steel, about 8" long. Get them while they are hot!

Brick Tea
For hundreds of years the Chinese packaged their tea in compressed bricks for easy shipment and long lasting flavor. We are now offering tea like this in a one pound brick. The bricks are scored on the back so they can broken into 8 smaller pieces. Tasty black tea only needs to be scraped off and put in hot water.

Old fashioned sugar. Don't eat that nasty bleached white sugar from the Supermarket, try our cone sugar. This is real, unprocessed sugar with a strong molasses flavor. About 7 oz. wrapped in paper and sealed with wax.

"El Popular" Chocolate
ATTENTION CHOC-O-HOLICS! This unique chocolate comes in a package of 2 bars, each being 4" long, 2-1/4" wide and 1/2" thick. It makes an authentic, Mexican hot chocolate drink with a hint of almond and cinnamon when used per instructions on the box. It can also be used in camp or on the trail by boiling a wedge in a cup of water, mixing with corn meal for "coco-mush" or since it is sweetened, just nibbling on a chunk by itself. 7-1/2 ounces of yummy stuff.

Copper Boiler with Lid

Copper Tea Pot
An early 18th century style, this tea pot will look great in your camp or kitchen! Handmade of heavy sheet copper, it has a removable lid and a bail with a turned wood handle. It is unlined so it should be used to boil water only. Base is about 8" dia., holds about 1 1/2 quarts.
