To all my Jewish Friends, Happy New Year.  So that you may have a sweet and fruitful year, I offer this simple recipe:

Apple and carrot salad for Rosh Hashanna

2 apples

4 carrots

1/2 cup raisins

2 Tbs. honey

Wash the apples, peel, core, and cut into 1 inch cubes.

Wash, peel, and slice the carrots.

Mix apples, carrots and raisins, then drizzle with the honey.
