I'm a little curious about this reference.  10,000 years ago is Neolithic
and there is little beside archeological evidence available.  The earliest
traces of proto-Sumerian civilization are only about 7,000 years old and the
use of Cunieform begins around 2,500 BCE, or 4,500 years ago.

Anyone got any information?
