Weird or unusual is of course rather relative. For instance, I was
practically brought up on horsemeat (well, we had it at least twice every
week) and still cook it at least twice a month; on the other hand, I think I
was around 17 when I tasted chicken for the first time, so to me that was a
rather unusual food.

Let me see ... seal, several types of whale, reindeer, elk, deer, wild boar,
antilope, alligator (but only dried), musk ox, ptarmigan, guillemot, puffin,
auk, cormorant, fulmar (can't remember the English names of the other
seabirds I´ve eaten), various other birds that may or may not be considered
strange food, I've no idea ... sea urchin (live, about two minutes after it
was hauled up into the boat), shark of course ...
