 A good friend of mine, about ten years ago, was playing indoor soccer
(something he loved and was good at) and for no reason at all, fell. Later
they checked out his shoes, the exact place he fell, and reviewed the
coach's video. It was pixies, really and truly. Several surgeries later, he
has a plate and 13 screws holding his leg together just about the ankle.
Truly a shame, especially since that man in hose... oh god... ;-)

(BTW, this is the guy who wrote _Shakespeare for Dummies_. Go get a copy if
you don't have one! It's a terrific book! And I was once and English grad
student!)
