Oh, and make sure you eat and drink. If necessary, appoint someone to come
in occasionally and make sure you've had something recently.

I know others have said these before, but:

comfy shoes
comfy clothes
an apron
multiple copies of recipes
make lists
know where the nearest grocery store is
relax
