I doubt this is true.  Terrorizing the animal would make it tougher not
more tender. That's why a lot of stupid hunters won't track deer they have
wounded or won't shoot deer that are running through the fields. The fear
makes the adrenaline pump which makes the meat tough and also makes it more
'gamier' tasting.
