[Sca-cooks] New Zealand/Australia:food advice

I have a friend who is going to australia/new zealand what food/kitchen
implement souveniers should I ask her to bring back, and also what are some
menu items she should try while she is there.  She is an adventurous eater.
If you do recommend a menu item please tell me if there is anything unusual
in it like moths, bugs, worms.

An another note I had tim tams at Pennsic this year that somebody
brought.  Boy were they good.
