Had something similar happen first time we ate "Zoreille", a sheep.  The
first sheep we raised for food.  (Zoreille is a cutish way to say "ears").

 From then on, animals for slaughter had names like "chops", "roast",
"steak", and "rack"...  Made it *much* easier to differentiate.
