There's also Long Pepper.
Both Piper longum and Piper Nigrum
were being grown in Asia and traded
throughout the various regions.

There are records that indicate what
the cultures of Southeast Asia were eating
prior to the introduction of the New World peppers.
The Europeans and missionaries who made the various
early voyages did record such things.
