[Sca-cooks] polenta

I was just watching Molto Mario's episode about an abruzzi meal, and he was
making gnocchi's with semolina floor and milk and he said that it was
semolina which was made of wheat but the way it looked it was sometimes
mistaken for polenta.

I know that corn is a new world food, and know polenta used to be made with
wheat, so is semolina what they used to use to make polenta? Anybody know
where I can find a recipe for polenta?
