4th Annual Cooks Symposium--February 7

Join the Shire of Talonval and the cooks of the Middle Kingdom for a day of
classes and practical discussion all about food. Learn to create a feast;
learn to set a period table; learn to brew and drink the finest meads and
ales--everything you wanted to know about food! See the class schedule at

Site Fee: $5
Site Opens: 9 a.m.
Site Closes: 6:30 p.m.
Site is handicapped friendly; easy parking and elevators to classrooms.
There are two gourmet restaurants on Michigan Ave. only a short distance
from the site.

Directions: The site is located at 209 East Washington Avenue in Jackson,
Michigan. Take your best route to I-94 and Exit 138. Go South off the exit,
which becomes West Avenue. Follow West to Michigan Avenue. Turn east (left)
on to Michigan Avenue. At the fork, stay right and continue on to Steward,
which becomes W. Washington. Continue on E. Washington to the Commonwealth
Commerce Center. Parking is free in the marked lot across the street. (If
you miss the fork, continue on Michigan Ave to Mechanic Street, and turn
right. Turn left on to E. Washington.)
