[Sca-cooks] washing birds

I don't see any sensibilities in that post, offended or not.  Just a
series of very puzzled questions.  And I'm curious, too, since the
chickens that we raised we always had butchered by a professional (and I
am, therefore, pretty unfamiliar with most butchering processes).  So
maybe you could just answer the questions, and satisfy our curiosity?
