Why I remember this kind of thing when more immediately important data 
go sliding off my teflon brain, I cannot say.

Um, back on topic, period noisy food... bubble and squeak maybe?

My holiday loot included a copy of WILD FERMENTATION by Sandor Ellix 
Katz.  I'm in love.  I will try very hard not to weird out my household 
with too many weird concoctions right away, but it won't be easy. 
 Honorable Klingon Husband is into Kim Chee, maybe I'll try that out first.
