Noble Cousin!

Greetings from Solveig!

Will you have a car? It all depends on whether you will have one and
how far you are willing to drive.

Things to See in Portland:

The Portland Zoological Garden
OMSI - (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry)

Places to Shop in Portland:

Powell's Books
The Loyd's Center

Places to See near Portland:

Multnomah Falls (Tallest waterfall in North America) - East of Portland

Mary Hill Museum - Goldendale, Washington
Stonehenge - Goldendale, Washington

Mt. Hood
Mt. St. Hellens

A bit farther.

Globe Theatre - Ashland, Oregon
Crater Lake National Park
Oregon Dunes
Mt. Raineer National Park
Olympic National Park
North Cascades National Park
Victoria, B.C.
	+ Provincial Museum
	+ Empress Hotel

Seattle
	+ Pike Place Market
	+ Shorey's Books

Incidentally the two best sushi restaurants in the Western Hemisphere
are in Seattle and Vancouver. The one in Seattle is on 2nd Avenue near
Pike Place Market.

I have been to most of the places listed above.
