Yes, I must have overlooked the fact that you had your real names listed in
your email header.
You might find these files in the Florilegium CULTURES section of interest:

Gypsies-art (14K) 4/ 7/02 "Gypsies in Period" by Sayidda Rakli Zada
                                       Orlenda.
Gypsies-msg (60K) 9/ 4/02 Gypsy culture. Also called Rom or Romani.

You can watch the Rom move across Turkey and Europe in the records. Although
the records indicate when they were first noted down, not when they actually
first reached a region, I would keep that in mind when you are picking a time
and place for your Rom personas. ie: A Rom persona in 13th century Turkey
might be plausible (I've not looked up the actual dates) a Rom in 13th century
  England would not.

In the FOOD-BY-REGION section. Not much, but a start:
fd-Turkey-msg (10K) 8/ 1/01 Medieval Turkish food. References. Recipes.

fd-Mid-East-msg (48K) 7/24/02 Period food of the Middle East. Recipes.

Crossbow or longbow? Combat or target?
He might want to look through the ARCHERY and the ARCHERY-FAQ sections.

Take a look through the CHILDREN section for some children's activity ideas.
The Ministers of Children and their activities are usually not full day
affairs. They are not meant as baby-sitters, although we have had problems
with some parents treating them that way. If you can find some more parents of
similar aged kids that may help. Then you can trade off supervision times.

> I wish I had finished our cloaks. So that what I am working on right now.

Yes, a cloak was the first major piece of clothing I made. Actually my mother
made it. A big, thick one. And she swore she would never do it again. Although
she did make a nice, improved version for my girlfriend, now my wife.
Perhaps this might help, in the CLOTHING section:

cloaks-msg (53K) 11/16/99 Cloaks, cloak pins and clasps.
