I sent a message Monday and got ZERO responses - from THIS group!?!?!

I guess it got lost in the discussion of beer and deep fat...

So, i will reiterate again what i already said before...

I will be in Philadelphia in mid-March to visit my daughter during
her college's spring break.

We will be going to the Mutter Museum and taking the wall mural tour
and eating at a couple fancy restaurants.

So, what other recommendations are there for places to go, things to
do, and stuff to eat... NOT scrapple (been there, ate that... got it
on my T-shirt)

I'm also thinking of renting a car and driving to Washington DC to
spend a day at the Textile Museum - i'm going to contact a curator
and i hope i can get to see some stuff that's not on display.
