    Some of the dishes on the list will not be on the menu for the feast.  I
am mostly just trying recipes to find out how much work they are & what
pitfalls are part of them.  For instance the Turnips baked in cheese recipe
would have been much better had I prebaked the turnips longer than the 45
minutes that the recipe called for & the Sweet Potato Pie would have been
better if I had baked the sweet potatoes in the oven instead of using the
microwave to over cook them.  I also found out that some of the recipes need
a little less sugar tan called for to please my taste.  I always try to do
some of each recipe before an event menu is posted.  Still I have had fun
cooking the past 2 days.
