What's more, one person's nearly ideal is another's virtual hell.

I've lived near in the south and northeast and hated both.  I've been
on the west coast and while I liked the visit I certainly wouldn't want
to live there.  Ottawa was wonderful except that it was WAY too cold.
None of those places are right *for me*, but I don't doubt for a moment
that others might like them.

It may seem weird, but I really like living in Cincinnati.  The
weather's not too warm or too cold.  The people are (generally)
friendly, and very predictable.  It's safe and the cost of living is
reasonably low.  Most of all, it's a very family-oriented place to live
- which happens to fit well with the family I have.

Chacun a son goût, eh?
