[Sca-cooks] Turnips (OP)

Now that the holidays are over, and winter little league has ended (just in
time for try-outs for spring little league, mind you) I actually had time to
sit down and read the December 2002 issue of Saveur.  Did anyone else catch
this issue?

There's a great article on turnips (pages 64-69) with several receipes that
while they aren't period, look and sound great.  I just might be able to
serve a couple of them to the kids without them wrinkling their noses at
them.
