Somebody was asking about anchovy essence? Wouldn't anchovy _paste_
work? I got mine at a local Snooty Food Store (tm).
The pie recipe actually sounded pretty tasty, until I got to the gelatin
part.  <<shudder>> Must be one of those texture things.....
It also reminded me of a chicken-and-pork pie I got roped into making
for a feast, manymany years ago.
