Cripes.  I don't know how you folks remember this kind of stuff.  When I
lived on Midway we went home for lunch or if not we just grabbed some sea
rations and went to the beach for a quick dip.  In Hawaii we had a cafeteria
but I have no memory of what the heck they served, probably because we
usually jumped in someones car and went for a ride instead.  In California,
well, that was the era of the 'Magic Bus' and we just don't recall much now
do we???
