When I suggested this a couple of days ago, I was thinking
of the private publications that were either sold or distributed
widely in the SCA.

Feast books miht be another category.
I think probably we ought to make a list of these too.
If not for the entire SCA, then at least for the Midrealm
Cooks Files or the Midrealm archives. And they ought to be archived
locally
with whatever files are kept too. Some are being placed up on the web
and
that helps, but of course the problem there is eventually they may
disappear from that.

My point is that people spend an inordinate amount of time creating
these documents and then in 5 or 10 or 20 years no one remembers
that there was a cookbook or menu that was previously created.

I'll file this in my file that I have created for this purpose and
we'll see where it goes from here.
