Dear friends,
I am sorry I haven't added anything to the list recently, but have had only limited e-mail access.
We finally made it to Alabama June 26. Daddy had a nice visit with his sisters and brothers on the 27th, then got sicker. We put him in the hospital here on July 1. They moved him from the local hospital to the VA hospital in Montgomery on the 2nd. They confirmed his diagnosis of non-small cell pulmonary carcinoma and have given him about six weeks to live. He is better, now, and got to come home in time for the mini-family reunion on the Fourth. We go back to Montgomery on the 10th for a bone scan, and will move the RV to my sister's house in Montgomery for the duration then. Perhaps I will have more of a chance to write again after that move.
Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Mordonna
