The cafeteria at Gulf Wars is mundane - typical southern food, sandwiches,
fried chicken, etc. with a sit down inside eating place. They also run a small
hot dog, chip, drink concession stand similar to ones found at ball parks.
The food merchants vary. They have "period-like " food. One is Middle
Eastern, with gyros and hummus, etc. Another is more like a tavern with heavy
appitizers. Another is a combination tavern-eatery with fried chicken, beef, and
vegetable pies. I seem to remember that others were there but did not actually
visit them. You order food at a counter at all of them and then there is limited
seating. Ale, ciders and lemonades were available. All of the food could be
eaten while shopping or wandering. Other merchants might have a few baked goods
or even commercial goods and cold canned drinks mixed in with their
merchandise.
