Greetings,

Huzzah and congratulations to you on your success! It sounds like it was
lovely and went well. I am truly impressed that you managed a feast without
cinnamon, I don't know how I could get by without it.

>3. Budget. ... I haven't totaled up receipts yet, but suffice it to say
that we are under by quite a bit. I am quite practiced in getting a lot for
a little, feeding a family of four on the food budget we have prepared me
quite well.

I had this same experience on my first feast, but it was borne out of
terrible paranioa that I would go over budget. I ended up $400 under budget,
which taught me that I could feed large numbers for little money, but also
taught me that I can go with more extravagent ingredients on a couple of
dishes.

>8. I got asked to do it again. And I will.

This is the greatest vote of confidence that one can have. A word of caution
from the not so wise, leave yourself some space between this and your next
feast. For me it was such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment that I
agreed to do another feast 4 months after the first and it almost burnt me
out. So just be careful.
