That is why I asked the question.  I know that
Cariadoc had a manuscript that someone translated
the transcription from the modern language [was
it Portuguese?] into English.  But the objections
were because he was selling it with his cookbook
collections.  I was hoping that putting it on the
web free for all to use might overcome the
problem.  However, I will contact Dr. Gloning to
see if he knows Herr Hayer so I can ask if my
project would be acceptable.  As you say, it
can't hurt to ask.  Thank you.
