from a friend but am not sure which it is)

Thanks for this advice so far folks actually I was thinking that with
the whole "Modern adaptation" thing that it was only a so so book for
period recipes. LOL at least the right hand pages... I noticed the
original recipes are mostly on the left page and the adaptaions are on
the right.
It is still fun reading though. I agree with most that seeing what has
been done as a redaction by her is interesting. And yeah I had noticed
some liberties taken as well. Guess that means that I am growning as a
fledgling cook eh?

BTW let's not cause an uproar over this as we all know that we all
disagree on some recipe translations.....
