[Sca-cooks] Back from Lilies War

Just thought I'd let you know I'm back from Lilies War.  Since it was my first Lilies, I am withholding judgment about whether it was good or bad.  It was very different from Pennsic.  Met a truckload of new folks, got to visit with Stefan while he was on site. Didn't play with the musicians, but amused myself daily by playing in our camp and seeing who was drawn in to listen. Even with 45 SPF sunscreen, ended up with a bit of a sunburn, now in the itchy stage.  Windburned face, bugbites as usual.  We fought ticks the whole time.  I don't know where the guys in the next camp came from, but gee there was a LOT of nice scenery (and I'm not talking about the lake!) A fellow with hawks camped next to us and I was facinated watching them while sipping my morning coffee. They had a gypsy wagon to camp in and a wooden wagon they used to move equipment around site.  Stefan took pictures. Speaking of pictures, as soon as Jim gets home, he got a really good pic of Stefan. I'll be sending it up to the SPCA website later today.  My computer doesn't have the input to accept Jim's digital camera. 
 
Now, I'm going to wait and see how much of my misbehavior gets spread and enhanced by the rumor mill.
