Yes, if you can simply get across that just because a food is served in 
the Middle East today, or is "traditional" Middle Eastern doesn't mean 
it was period or served the same way then, you will be making a big 
step forward. While this idea is slowing sinking in across the Known 
World for period European food, for some reason it seems to take longer 
for folks to understand that this applies to other cultures as well. 
This goes for clothing as well.
