[Sca-cooks] too weird...

Remember the other day, the mention of the name Filomena, and the
subsequent conversations about the various stories- from Boccaccio to
_Titus Andronicus_?

I was just giving CNN a quick lookover before I turning in, and found a
story about a man in Virginia who murdered his father and killed and
mutilated a nun. He cut off her head, hands, and feet. And her name?

Philomena.

If this were literature we could make the immediate connection, but this
isn't literature! And the murderer likely didn't even know her name. Too
weird, yes? What are the chances?...

still shaking my head, but keeping it firmly attached to my body,

'Lainie
