Yeah. One of our annual chores is to collect Stefan from the airport, and
deliver him at the end of Pennsic, and last year, that inclded Muiredach as
well, as well as a friend of Stefan's (who never showed). A couple of years
ago, Stefan's plane was late, anf Frederich and I discovered three Aussies,
who, after the trip from Oz from Hel, had missed connections with their
ride, and had been waiting at the airport for several hours. We went ahead
and loaded their luggage, and waited for Stefan- his plane was VERY late for
some reason, and just as he arrived their ride finally did, so they went
with them, and we delivered their luggage (and Stefan) to Pennsic. It was
great, to see them, once they got there, transformed from the over-tired,
cranky travellers at the airport, to looking at Pennsic, with wonder and
amazement ;-) I also checked on them after Pennsic, to make sure they got
home safe ;-)

Since then, though, I go to the airport in garb- that's how they'd spotted
Friederich- and make a sweep from one end of the luggage/departure area, in
case there are any other lost souls there. I'd suggest that, too, to anybody
else who makes airport runs, if there's any way you can fit another person
into your vehicle. We take care of our own ;-)

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is probably not a
cat.

Never a horse that cain't be rode,
And never a rider who cain't be throwed....
