The question asked revolves around the natural coating that eggs have which
is removed before processed eggs are sold in a super market.  The suppostion
was that that coating might interact with the resist that the egg is coated
with prior to marking and emersion in a vinegar bath thus making the resist,
in this case suet, more effective.
