Yes.

Exactly.  With the budget problems we have in Caid that come with
skyrocketing site rental fees, we have mainly gone for a'la carte,
charging each item separately,if we offer lunch at all.
That and the dearth of really good
cooks who can handle "feeding the masses."  Some folks cook
well but don't do large groups;  some can feed the masses
plain food but don't care whether it's period or not.
I am trying hard to do both, as last week's Darach Black
Oak Lodge proved.  That is one of Caid's rare full-weekend
camping events with a flat fee including all meals.
I was in charge of Lunch this time and ran out of
chicken.  My main problem was that someone
else was doing the grocery shopping and never got my
message to double the chicken-leg order.  *sigh*
Nice boy but I cannot trust any communication
method short of doing it all myself.
I =will= do my own shopping from now on.
