I have had the Sharp model twice now since 1990 (one was accidently left behind in an
ugly break up), thus I bought a new one in 1997. I love it. I bake all my cookies, some of
my cakes, pies, and anything I need to when I have other things in the regular oven. The
one thing I like the best is like the microwave you set the time and it shuts off when it is
finished. I don't know about all of you but I use to sacrifice the last batch of cookies in
burnt offerings because I would be cleaning up and forget about them until I smelled the
burnt scent gently wafting from the oven. I swear by the Sharp micro/convection oven.
They are worth the extra money. I am glad to hear the prices are coming down I paid
$550 in 1997.
