It's all there in the book All the King's Cooks.
You can interlibrary loan in a copy and review
what he cites yourself, if you don't already own a copy.
(It's been highly recommended, like all of Peter Brears' works.)
He's very good at sourcing all his recipes.
The source this time is A.W.'s A Book of Cookrye. First edition
1584 but everyone uses the 1591 edition.
If you don't own A.W. then you can loan in the
facsimile of that or you can use it from EEBO.
The ISBN for the facsimile is 9022108341. It came
out in 1976.
