Trade with China one supposes... I remember the same source as you do, and
it's mentioned there <G>. I remember he said the fins went off a bit during
the trip, but most people considered it improved the flavor.

Of course, considering, HE could be full of it too... and I'm not referring
to either tea or sharkfin soup... <G>.
