luckily my parents had a policy of 'if we tried a food and didnt like it 
after trying it,, we didnt have to eat it after that' so i got to learn 
to love a lot of different foods that if htey had forced us to eat 
everything no matter what we probably wouldnt have given a fair try. i 
mean, how many kids grew up likeing spinach, brussels sprouts, 
asparagus, artichokes and stewed tomatos=)
