As to the discussion of handfuls - this came up when I was judging recently.  
It seems that some of us measure what a handful is differently.  One person 
grabs using a fist (ie: a cluched fist around the ingredient), while another 
scoops up (using their hand as a cupped scoop).  Both called it a handful.  
So, it really needs to be measured and defined.  Because a cluched fist holds 
signicantly less than a cupped hand - this can make quite a bit of difference 
when someone else tries to recreate the recipe from your description.
