[Sca-cooks] another perspective on competitions

I have another thought about competitions and why you would include a
description of the steps you went through to re-create the dish.

If you are entering a competition, why are you entering (other than to
win)? Are you entering to show off your period cooking skills? Well, how
will people know what your period cooking skills are unless you tell them
what you did? Are you entering to get feedback? How will the judges give
you feedback unless they know specifically how you interpreted the
directions in the recipe?
