Of course the GM corn being refused may have some attibute that the Hogs
and Cows dislike.
The corn could also be a variety developed for alcohol production or
popcorn or any number of oterh uses and not for feed corn...
They may have had the corn varieties side by side, and so never let the
animals get hungry enough to eat the stuff

ANYWAY, Animal tests like this regularly make a poor indicator of human
food desireablility.
Who knows? they could have a used capsicum gene that human find desireable
( "nacho" corn on the cob! ) to prevent insect depredation...

there are loads of ways to cook these things...
Usually this sort of thing is set up with an agenda
such as to "prove" that GM corn is bad, for example...

I would love to see a Double blind placebo controlled study of GM Feed
corn...
but i doubt it would happen...
too many forgone conclusions are already in place to permit a truly
randomized study.
