[Sca-cooks] peeling onions/inability to cut onions

         Put them in the freezer for a few minutes before you cut them.  I 
forget how long (fortunately I usually don't have trouble cutting 
onions).  Or hold a slice of bread in your mouth (never tried that, but it 
seems it would block the rising fumes if it doesn't dissolve first).
