Klyner

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

3 eggs

1/4 cup cream

3-1/2 cup flour 

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cardamom

1 teaspoon salt

Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs & stir/mix with mixer. Mix or sift and add dry ingredients. Add cream. Sir/mix. Roll dough 1/4" thick. (No refrigeration necessary.) Cut into diamond shape. Cut slit in center. Pull one point of diamond through point. Deep fat fry. Drain. Dust with powdered sugar while hot.
