Well, there is one. Wrapping up in a length of wool would certainly be a
period shelter that takes as much space and weight as my dome tent.--
given that one 'good' dress outfit of my period garb, including jewelry,
ties, belt and underdress, weighs and bulks about as much as my dome tent.

On the other hand, it's difficult to keep one's garb out of the dew with
just 6 yards of wool. :)
